జడ్చర్ల గ్రామీణం, న్యూస్‌టుడే: ‘నేను పోలేపల్లి పీనుగను మాట్లాడుతున్నా’ పుస్తకాన్ని విప్లవ రచయితల సంఘం నాయకులు వరవరరావు ఆవిష్కరించారు. సోమవారం జడ్చర్ల మండలం పోలేపల్లిలో సెజ్‌ బాధిత రైతులతో కలిసి ఈ కార్యక్రమంలో పాల్గొన్నారు. ఇందులో పోలేపల్లి బాధితుల కథనాలు ఉన్నాయి. కార్యక్రమంలో గీతాంజలి తదితరులు పాల్గొన్నారు. అనంతరం మొదటిసారిగా పోలేపల్లిని సందర్శించిన వరవరరావు గ్రామంలో పర్యటించి బాధితులతో మాట్లాడారు.

Polepally Victims Plan Long Dharna

Today we had a review meeting in the mango farm, adjacent to Polepally SEZ. Whole farm is sold out to housing plots. The meeting was held in the shade of the orchard that is about to vanish shortly. All surrounding areas have now become real estate properties of people sitting elsewhere with money bags. That entire area wears a radically different image with the SEZ. One can’t see any more signs of a village. Telangana village is broken into hi-tech roads. For a moment one would feel it is some industrial area of Delhi, or Vizag steel plant. I saw small children and men sweating as they sit in hot mid day painting the road divider. అభివృద్ధిపేరిట ప్రభుత్వాలు తమను దగా చేస్తున్నాయన్న వాస్తవాన్ని గుర్తించిన పేద ప్రజలు చైతన్యవంతులవుతున్నారు. తమకు జరుగుతున్న అన్యాయాలకు వ్యతిరేకంగా ఉద్యమిస్తున్నారు. వారికి బాసటగా నిలబడటం విద్యావంతుల నైతిక కర్త్యవం. సంపద సృష్టించే శ్రమ జీవుల పక్షాన నిలబడక పోతే అనతికాలంలోనే తమనూ అనేక సమస్యలు చుట్టు ముడతాయన్న నిజాన్ని విద్యావంతులందరూ గుర్తించాలి.

అనామకులుగా మిగిలిపోయిన, అసమాన త్యాగాలు చేసి చరిత్రకెక్కని సామాన్యుల ధైర్యంతో పోల్చదగింది మరేదీ లేదు. గుర్తింపును కోరుకోకుండా, మీడియా రక్షణ భరోసా లేకుండా న్యాయం కోసం పోరాడిన వారి ధైర్యమే ధైర్యం. అది మనల్ని విన మ్రులను చేస్తుంది. ఉత్తేజ పరుస్తుంది. మానవతలో మన విశ్వాసాన్ని ప్రగాఢం చేస్తుంది.

పోలేపల్లి, నవంబర్‌ 21 : పోలేపల్లి సెజ్‌ బాధితులను ఎన్నారై ప్రతినిధులు పరామర్శించి వారి కష్ట సుఖాలను అడిగి తెలుసుకున్నారు. విజయ్‌ చవ్వ మరియు రేణుక వెలిదన ఆధ్వర్యంలోని ఎన్నారైల బృందం పోలేపల్లి సెజ్‌ బాధితులను పరామర్శించింది. పోలేపల్లి సెజ్‌ బాధితుల ఐక్య కార్యాచరణ సమితి కన్వీనర్లు సుజాత సూరేపల్లి, మధుకగుల ఎన్నారై బృందానికి దగ్గరుండి బాధితుల గోడును వినిపించారు.

All Political party MAHA DHARNA at Polepally

Finally Polepally brought all the political parties of the state to the village challenging SEZ atrocities. Recently a Round Table conference of all opposition parties was held at Hyderabad on 19th under the leadership of Dr. Narayana, General Secretary, Communist Party of India (CPI). They identified few issues to fight together and they started from Polepally. Major parties like CPI, CPI (M), CPI ML, CPI (New Democracy) Janata Dal (S), Loksatta, MBT, Praja Rajyam, TDP, and TRS came to Polepally.

Padayatra by Telangana Girijana Bheri

Rajesh Nayak of Telangana Girijana Bheri – an organization working for tribals in Telangana region will be starting a padayatra from Polepally, Gundlagadda tanda on the 2nd of November 2008. His team will reach Hyderabad on 4th November and will go to the Chief Minister YS Rajasekhar Reddy’s house and conduct a dharna there.

Polepally Bhu Satyagraham Report

Polepally Bhu Satyagraham held from 25th September to 2nd October, 2008 was a remarkable experience to the farmers affected by the SEZ in many ways and also to those who had come to Polepally to join the agitation in solidarity.

It gave us lot of confidence and helped get people’s support. There were many volunteers to work, and some resource constraints. Friends made contributions in different ways. At least, we were able to provide one meal. We would like to express our heartfelt thanks to all those who contributed monetarily or extended their solidarity in other forms.

పోలేపల్లి వెళ్ళాలని, అక్కడి సెజ్‌ బాధితులతో మాట్లాడి, వారి దు:ఖగాధని భూమికలో రాయలని చాలా రోజులుగా అనుకుంటున్నాను. రత్నమాల కూడ చాలాసార్లు చెప్పింది. అమెరికాలో వుండే జయప్రకాష్‌తో చాట్‌ చేస్తున్నపుడు తెలిసింది ఆగష్టు 7న పోలేపల్లిలో పబ్లిక్‌ హియరింగు వుందని. సరే ఆ రోజు హాజరైతే అందరినీ ఒకే చోట కలిసినట్టు వుంటుందని, విషయలు బాగా అర్ధమౌతాయని అనుకుని శిలాలోలితకి, సుజాతాపట్వారీకీ ఫోన్‌ చేసాను. శిలాలోలిత వస్తానని చెప్పడంతో పోలేపల్లి ప్రయాణం ఖాయమైంది.

BalaGopal addressing the Public Hearing

Public Hearing on Polepally SEZ was held on 7 August in Polepally. It was organized on the main the entrance leading to the Polepally SEZ at 11 a.m.

Public hearing panel included Balagopal, Ratnamala, Hema Venkat Rao, and Pashyam Yadagiri. Speakers from Maharashtra and Nirup Reddy couldn’t attend due to some urgent programmes. Representatives of several organizations took part in the public hearing expressing solidarity with the Polepally struggle. There were representatives from Bhumika, Chaitanya Mahila Samakya, Dalit Social Forum, Human Rights Forum, Kula Nirmulana Porata Samiti, Musi TV, Praja Kala Mandalai, Samaana Vidya Sadhana Committee, Shramika Shakti Sanghatana, Telangana Journalist Forum, Telangana Sangarshana Samiti, Virasam among others

Polepally Cry for Justice Echoes in Hyderabad

Today Fateh Maidan, the centre of Hyderabad, was flooded with Polepalli SEZ Victims. Hundreds of farmers including men and women, old and young came to Hyderabad to tell the APIIC authorities of their woes and give them their demands.

ఎనిమిదేళ్ల క్రితం ప్రపంచ బ్యాంకు పాలనకు వ్యతిరేకంగా ఉద్యమించిన ప్రజల గుండెల్లోకి పోలీసుల తుపాకీ గుళ్లు దూసుకెళ్లిన బషీర్ బాగ్ చౌరస్తా అది.

ప్రపంచీకరణ శక్తుల తాజా అస్త్రం అయిన సెజ్ లకు వ్యతిరేకంగా ఉద్యమించిన రైతులకు ఇప్పుడు అదే బషీర్ బాగ్ వేదిక అయ్యింది. అప్పుడున్న ముఖ్యమంత్రి ఇప్పుడు అధికారంలో లేడు. అయితేనేం విదేశీ దొరల పరిపాలన మాత్రం ఇంకా కొనసాగుతోంది.
